If you’re new to cruising, then there are likely to be a number of questions about your cruise. Everything from how to connect to the wi-fi to what time dinner is on the ship. The Cruise Norwegian app has a full list of “Help” topics like these with full answers. The Cruise Norwegian mobile app is not intended for children under the age of 13. However, permission by a parent or guardian in the same stateroom can be granted through their mobile app. To grant permission, a parent must log into the app with their information, open the main menu and navigate to the Preference Center, select the CHILD ACCESS menu option, and follow the instructions.
The Daily Schedule Keeps You On Top of Everything on the Ship
One of the most convenient features you’ll find is that you can track your onboard spending through the app. Whether it’s buying a drink, a massage, a meal, or a souvenir, anything you spend on the ship will be logged to your onboard account. Download the Cruise Norwegian mobile app via the App Store or Google Play. The first step to planning your cruise is linking your account to to the app.

Failure to show eDocs at embarkation will result in long wait times at the port. Checking in online before your cruise can save you lots of time. And while you can do it from your computer, the app also lets you check-in beforehand. You can get your boarding assignment, know when to arrive at the pier and even access your “E-docs” for boarding right from the phone — similar to boarding a plane. We can’t wait to welcome you onboard, but first, let’s go over everything you need to prepare for an amazing vacation ahead.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play. One of the biggest hangups with some apps is that they might only be available for Android or the iPhone. In the case of the Norwegian app, it’s available for both devices. If you are running Android on your phone, it requires version 4.1 or greater.
The good news is that you don’t need to pay for wi-fi in order to use the app. While the app connects to the ship’s internet system, it’s free to use. The only part of the program that costs money is the call and messaging feature. Once you’ve downloaded and logged into the app, then you can start to get a feel of how useful it is. From the program you can find information on dining, entertainment and shore excursions.
Print a copy or save a screen grab from your phone containing guest name, terminal arrival time, ship, stateroom and bar code. Port security will check eDocs for this information along with passport/identification to allow entry to the port. You’ll be able to download eDocs 21 days prior to your sailing after Online Check-In is complete.
If you find the one you want, you can book it right through your phone; no waiting in line required. Then you’re going to want to download the Cruise Norwegian app. The program provides all sorts of helpful information to plan and enjoy your cruise — all from the convenience of your phone.
It’s nice to be able to budget on your vacation and also not be surprised by an unexpected bill amount at the end of the cruise. Guests on Norwegian Cruise Line can now use the cruise line's app on any of the 16 ships in the fleet. The developer, Norwegian Cruise Line®, indicated that the app’s privacy practices may include handling of data as described below. For more information, see the developer’s privacy policy.
You'll be all set to explore and plan all the things you can do onboard. The Cruise Norwegian App will work automatically when you connect to the ship’s wi-fi when you board the ship. Select "Download eDocs" once you've completed Online Check-In for each guest.

Cruise Radio prioritizes well-balanced cruise news coverage and accurate reporting, paired with ship reviews and tips. That’s why the deck plans included on the Norwegian app are so helpful. You can pull up every deck and see exactly what’s there. Right from the app — anywhere on the ship — you can see exactly how much you’ve spent.
The Cruise Norwegian app has been enhanced to help you experience an unforgettable cruise vacation every step of the way from the time you book to your last day on board. With more than a dozen restaurants on many ships… not including bars… it can be overwhelming. You’ll find profiles of each within the app, along with information about their costs, location, and more.

As an added feature, you can call or message other people on the ship using the app, for $9.95 per phone. Note that this doesn’t allow you to call or message home. So if you wanted to use the app to call and check on things back on land, that wouldn’t be available. Instead of having to book with the staff the ship, you can read more about each adventure offered, including prices.

At the moment, the Cruise Norwegian app is only available on the Norwegian Sky. It next will be rolled out when the line’s newest ship, the Norwegian Bliss, joins the fleet this summer. And by the end of 2018, the app is expected to be available to all passengers sailing with Norwegian.
Since first being introduced, the app has continued to roll out among the ships in Norwegian’s fleet. The cruise line recently announced that the app is now available across all ships. So whether you are sailing on the Norwegian Bliss (the line’s newest ship) or Norwegian Spirit (it’s oldest), the app will be available to help plan and reference during your cruise. One thing I used frequently while on my cruise was the “what’s happening” feature...this shows all of the things happening in the next 24 hours (I was constantly looking at it to see what options were coming up). The one thing I didn’t like about this feature is that you can’t tap an item and get more information...that would have been EXTREMELY useful because some titles didn’t lend themselves well to what that event actually was. The Cruise Norwegian app is, at the end of the day, an update of their current iConcierge app.
